FAQ

From our repair policy to wash instructions, here's what you need to know:

Q. I ripped my jeans. How can I get them repaired?
A. With all of our products, are backed with an unlimited repair policy for the lifetime of the piece. If you are local, you are more than welcome to stop by our shop at 37 Greenwoods Road, New Hartford, CT 06057, or ship us the garment!
Q. How should I go about washing my jeans?
A. I'd start with turning them inside out. This helps prevent the indigo dye from bleeding everywhere. Wash in lukewarm or cold water with some liquid detergent or dish soap. Dr. Bronner's is a good brand -- agitate the jeans and let them soak for about 30 minutes. Rinse them out and make sure you get all the detergent out of them. It is so crucial that you hang dry them with no tension on the waistband. This will help with unwanted fades from the dryer and fitting issues down the road.
Q. What hours are you guys at your shop?
A. Monday through Friday, more than likely, we are there from 10am - 5pm and Saturdays from 12pm to about 5pm. It's best to give us a call or shoot us a dm on Instagram(@hardenco) to make sure since those hours are not concrete.
Q. It seems like a lot is out of stock. Why?
A. A lot of our items can be made to order! The lead time is about 10 - 12 weeks, so plan in advance! Fill out a form on the "Contact Us" page on our website if you have questions about the fabric still being available, sizing, etc.
